Found: Lost Doll!Fic

I've had a little time to putter around the old journal (slow work week FTW!), and lookie what I found from way back in July of 2011: my last flailing attempt at birthday-inspired doll!fic, which I failed to post publicly.</flailfail> It's unlocked now, and here it be if anyone could use a feeble doll-based chuckle. (Seriously, don't get excited--this craft is weak!)

Hope 2013 is treatin' y'all right. I'm doing reasonably well and hope that you are, too. I still cherish hopes of doing more than sporadic LJ lurking, but Life, she is an tricksy minx when it comes to giving much of anything that could be considered "me" time. I can hope, though . . .

Oh, darlin'...it's always lovely to hear from you. Life is very distracting, isn't it? Darned thing.

I have Hopes for 2013, and this post is a Sign. I might have to work on some dollishness for Valentine's Day, or perhaps bang out a few limericks. A few Spaikus wouldn't go amiss, either! Join usssssssss!

Hi, hi, hi, hi!!!!

SO distracting! I never imagined that things could just be 24/7 batshit for years on end. People should be given a big "buckle up, buttercup" speech when they turn 40 so that they'll know what to expect. It should be both motivational and terrifying--something along the lines of, "Welcome to your forties--don't make any plans!" ;)

I am delighted that this is a Sign post. What could be more welcome than dollishness and limericks? I'm sure I don't know. We've just begun the first BtVS re-watch that will include Miss Z from beginning to end, and my Hopes are that the child's contagious enthusiasm for the project will be productive of some Spaiku.
