Spaiku is my anti-work.

In your face, overlong committee meeting! I used you to compose a couple of haiku from S5 wherein our vampire is newly smitten. Let's say this happened somewhere between "Into the Woods" and "Triangle."

Feedback helps me on my redemptive journey away from my soulless work day. . .

Eager to atone,
he scans the shelves at Walgreens.
Girl likes chocolate, right?

Dozes in the chair,
TV blaring, fly open,
blue sweater clutched tight.

Oh, poor Spike! I do love clueless, trying not to be quite so evil Spike.

And I adore your new default icon!

*maternal clucking* He's a very confused little vampire.

Thank you! That's one of my favorite moments from "Life Serial" and the fine work of chrischdi. (And also how I feel this week: huh?!)

Ah, the box of chocolates. That poor box got a lot of abuse. Theese are always so much fun.

Thank you! I need to do one about the mannequin, too.

I love Dawn's assessment of his "hugging a bent box of chocolates" as "lame." Teens can be so cruel. :)

Ohhh, season 5 Spike! *adores*

Thank you, my dear. I'm glad you liked them! :)

Nice job of capturing the tone of that part of season V in a few short lines. These are so fun - more committee meetings, please?

more committee meetings, please?

Eep! I'll write more, I promise! There's no need for that!

Heh. Thanks. I'm pleased that you like them. (But no more meetings, ok?)

Well, okay...maybe. If there's more spaiku. :)

Scout's honor! :D

These are BRILLIANT.

*lol* Yay! Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed them.

That box of chocolates suffered for Spike's ambiguity.

Masterful grasp of essentials.

It's not often that anything I do is characterized as "masterful," but I'll take it! Thanks, Louise. :D

I've only just caught up with my flist - we' ve been to the Zoo. It's about 350 km each way, so not a day trip. Loved these. Poor Spikey. With the choccies and the sweater and the total lack of Clue.

Ooh, zoo! Hope you had a good trip. It's about that far to a good zoo from where I live--there's one thirty miles away in Little Rock, but it's a sad little zoo that still looks very much as though it's stuck in the 1960s. It's modernizing, but very slowly.

Thank you--glad you enjoyed the cluelessness. :)

This was the Western Plains Zoo, which is enormous, and well-funded, and beautifully organised. We stayed on the premises and had three keeper-led tours. An enormously good time was had by all. I will post some pics shortly. There is a zoo and aquarium in Canberra which we go to about once a year, it's pretty good too, but of course it's newer and smaller, and there's another great zoo at Mogo, just about 100 km away, near where we have our hols. It's a great outing.

Re: Zoos
That sounds wonderful! I'll definitely keep an eye out for pics. :)
